Our mission statement at Reach Out Church is to “Win the lost, train them up, and send them out.” While we do have many ministries which focus internally for the edification of Christ’s body, our purpose in doing so is that we can then effectively share the Gospel of Christ in our local communities, our country, and all around the world. Reach Out Church is a body of believers with one objective in mind – to share the hope, healing, and wholeness that God offers through Christ. Under the Ministries menu above, you will find more information about ministries for the building of our Church’s saints.

At Reach Out Church, we believe God has enabled all believers with the ability to serve in the ministry through the gifts He has blessed each individual with. We wholeheartedly encourage all believers to serve in whichever ministry they believe God has gifted them for and called them to. If you are interested in serving in any of our church’s ministries, or if you would like more information about any of these ministries, call us at (845) 229-6080 or send an email to reachout@reachoutchurch.com Also feel free to ask any usher for more information upon any visit here at Reach Out.

Below you can find information on various ministries Reach Out Church leads which extend into our local community in the Hudson Valley.

Reach Out Food Pantry Al-&-Ingrid-Kulick2

The Reach Out Food Pantry provides food, household necessities, and the love of God to anyone in need in Dutchess County every Friday from 2pm-5pm. Now in its 14th year, the pantry is well respected by both the local community and New York state. The pantry not only provides food & household necessities, but also provides an opportunity for prayer, encouragement, and God’s blessing upon its attendants. Our volunteers love to be not only a natural blessing, but a spiritual blessing to those who come to our pantry. The Reach Out Food Pantry is directed and led by Al and Ingrid Kulick. Valley Vista

Valley Vista is a nursing home in Highland that we minister to every Sunday afternoon after our second service. We share God’s hope through the Gospel with the residents of the nursing home, and quarterly we will send a volunteer to speak a word of encouragement to bless the elderly. Vera Szalaji leads this outreach weekly. Pictured on the right is Vera (in the red shirt) with one of the lovely souls whom our ministry blesses.

Hospital Visitation eileen

We have a team of individuals that take time out of their busy schedules to go to our local hospitals and share God’s love and the good news of the Gospel with those who request a visit. Many have been blessed and encouraged by this ministry during times of healing and recovery, and our volunteers have in turn been blessed through their participation. This outreach is led by Eileen Tiess and Pastor Bob Wyatt.

forstersBlessings From The Kitchen

We have a team of people who lovingly prepare and deliver meals for our church members, families, and neighbors in the community for times of celebration or times of need. For occasions such as the news of a newborn arrival, recovering from illness or operation, or for the need of consolation, we like to provide meals for the ministering of those need. Many of been blessed by this ministry in times of celebration and in times of difficulty. This outreach is led by Jon and Bethany Forster.

Seasonal Outreaches

Fishing Derby linda

Every May we have our annual Fishing Derby on our church property for children ages 6-12 years old. We stock our church pond with trout and let the children fish and compete for prizes! As they fish, we provide free hot dogs, refreshments, and other foods cooked on the grill! The Reach Out Fishing Derby is a fun family event that allows us to extend a blessing to the Hyde Park community. This event takes place on a Saturday morning in early May, but specific times and dates will be posted on our Events page for this year’s Fishing Derby as we approach the Springtime. This outreach is lead by Linda Miranda.
