Many churches have small groups that are designed to study the same areas, but we realize that not everyone is in the same situation in their lives and where they are growing in the Lord. While some may need to focus on foundational areas in Scripture, others may need to focus on how they can better reach the lost,  manage their finances, or even to learn how to simply love their neighbor as themselves.

Our Reach Out Small Groups are designed to offer a variety of areas where you can grow in the Lord through the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. We invite you to prayerfully consider and join the right small group that God is leading you to! This 6-8 week commitment will be a life changing growing experience, and you can contact the church office or sign up in the foyer to join. Below is our list of small groups.

Foundations 1

If you have ever seen a house that has fallen down as the result of a faulty foundation, you know how important it is to have a firm foundation. This same principle is true for a Christian’s life, in that the truths found in the Bible are to be the foundation blocks for our lives. The purpose of this course is to establish the Christian believer in the six elementary teachings of Christ as outlined in Hebrews chapter six. If you are new to the church and/or would like to get involved in ministry, this course is for you.

Group led by Carl and Sandra Forster: Held at Reach Out Church in Upper Room First meeting: Thursday, October 5th at 7pm

A Study on Forgiveness

Forgiveness is about healing yourself, not saying “it’s OK”. Sometimes we find ourselves needing to extend or receive forgiveness, and when our hurt is deep that forgiveness doesn’t come easy. We will look through the Bible to discover how God shows mercy, and how choosing forgiveness can free us from the past and move us toward all that God intends for us.

Group led by Lorraine Swack: Please contact the church office for location and more info.
First meeting: Tuesday, October 3rd at 7pm

A Study Of Revelation

This study will be an overview of the Book of Revelation. This study is designed to help you understand some of the more difficult passages in the book of Revelation and also help you to join the entire narrative together to give you a basic understanding of Gods plan during the end times.

Living With Biblical Character

We will be looking at various Bible characters and the ways they lived their lives.  By looking at both the successes and failures of these individuals we can learn by their examples of how to live our own lives to bring honor and glory to God as well as being blessed.

Group led by Aaron Forster.
First meeting: Monday, October 2nd at 7pm. Please contact the church office for location and more info.

A Study Of Ephesians

Come join us for an in-depth look at the book of Ephesians, where we will study salvation by grace through faith, unity in the body of Christ, the armor of God, and much more! Come both ready to learn and ready to share. We are looking forward to a great time together as we grow closer to Christ. If you are able, please bring a dish to share; kids are welcome to come play while we study.

The Story: A Narrative Study

For students grades 6-12. This series is a unique look at the Bible told as a story from start to finish. Using a chronological, abridged edition of the Bible called The Story, this study will take students from Genesis to Revelation using a seamless narrative, without the usual verse references and in a novel-like format with chapters that span many of the Bible’s stories. Teens will be encouraged by interacting with God’s Word in a new way that is more immediate and easier to engage with. This series is a part of FORGE Youth Ministries.

Group led by Nic and Gabby Knapp. Wednesdays at 6:30pm at Reach Out Church! Please see our FORGE Youth Group Facebook page for more info!
