Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes due this Sunday!

OCC_logoPlease keep in mind that if you are participating in Operation Christmas Child this year, we are having our final after-service dropoff this Sunday, November 20th.

We are happy to announce that we are partnering with Samaritan’s Purse this year again for Operation Christmas Child at Reach Out Church! We encourage all to participate in this ministry which touches lives around the world! We will also need volunteers to help us during our relay center collection hours from November 14th21st. If you would like to volunteer for our relay center, you can find more information and our hours on our Operation Christmas Child page on Reach Out Church’s website.

Women’s Group: Friends, Floats, and Fellowship!

friendsfloatsandfellowshipNext Friday, November 18th at 7pm, the ladies of Reach Out Church are welcome to come together for some ice cream floats and fellowship in the church foyer! All women of all ages are welcome to attend!

Thanksgiving Meal

thanksgivingOn Thursday, November 24th we will be having a Thanksgiving meal together in the church annex. If you would like to help prepare the meal, please come at 11am and we will eat together at 1pm. Please sign up in the foyer if you plan on attending. All are welcome! College Student Cookie Bake

Chocolate_Chip_Cookies_-_kimberlykvOn Sunday, November 27th we will be collecting baked Christmas Cookies which we will send to the college students abroad from Reach Out Church. This is a great way to encourage the students to remind them they are missed and loved by us as they approach their finals! Please bake a batch of your favorite Christmas cookies and the college group will pack them into tins and have them shipped. Please sign up in the foyer if you plan on participating!

Bless a local family this Christmas season

hydeparkcommunitycaresYou can make an impact in our community by sponsoring a family to assist in providing food and gifts this Christmas season. Reach Out Church works with Hyde Park Community Cares to provide for families that cannot financially afford to bless their children this Christmas season. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, you can sign up on our list in the foyer, contact Cathy Kelly, or call the church office for more information at (845) 229-6080.
